1. Eligibility to Participate

Participants are only required to submit their name, a valid email address, and their prediction (e.g., Choice A or Choice B).

Eligible Countries:

Due to logistical and shipping restrictions associated with our products (prizes), the provisional winner must be a resident of one of the eligible countries listed below:

• United Kingdom (UK), United States (USA), Canada, China
• France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Spain

We regret that participants residing outside the countries listed above will not be eligible to win or claim the prize.

2. Additional Requirements to Claim the Prize

In addition to the Eligible Countries requirement outlined in Section 1, a provisional winner must satisfy the following requirements to be eligible to claim the prize.

(a) Social Media Account Requirement

The provisional winner must have an active and authentic account on at least one of the following social media platforms: Facebook or LinkedIn.

PaulTheOctopus.com will contact the provisional winner via their registered email address to request their social media account details. This is necessary to verify the provisional winner's identity and help ensure that the participant is a genuine individual rather than a bot or fraudulent account.

The verification process will include checking compliance with the minimum social media connections requirement specified in Point (b) below.

Once the provisional winner's social media account has been successfully verified and approved, PaulTheOctopus.com will contact the provisional winner via Direct Message (DM) on the verified social media platform to provide instructions for claiming the prize.

(b) Minimum Social Media Connections Requirement

The provisional winner must have at least 50 friends, connections, or followers on their Facebook or LinkedIn account.

(c) Response Deadline

The provisional winner must respond to PaulTheOctopus.com's email and provide their social media account details within 14 calendar days from the date the notification email is sent.

Failure to respond within the stipulated period may result in disqualification, in which case a replacement provisional winner will be selected in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

(d) One Entry per Email Address

Each email address is permitted to submit only one entry per Football Prophecy.

If multiple entries are submitted using the same email address for the same Football Prophecy, all entries associated with that email address will be disqualified from prize eligibility.

3. Submission Deadline for Predictions

All predictions must be submitted before the relevant match begins. Any prediction submitted at or after the scheduled start time of the match will be considered invalid.

The submission timestamp recorded by PaulTheOctopus.com's system shall be used to determine whether an entry was submitted before the deadline.

4. Correct Predictions

Once the official match result becomes publicly available through reputable sources, PaulTheOctopus.com will identify participants who submitted the correct prediction for the relevant Football Prophecy.

Only participants with correct and valid predictions will qualify for the lucky draw, subject to the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms & Conditions.

5. Lucky Draw Method and Selection of ONE Provisional Winner

Each participant with a correct and valid prediction will be entered into the lucky draw.

The lucky draw system will assign a random number to each qualifying participant. Participants will then be ranked according to their assigned random numbers, from largest to smallest.

The participant assigned the largest random number will be selected as the sole provisional winner, subject to eligibility verification.

6. Disqualification and Selection of Replacement Winner

The provisional winner remains subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

PaulTheOctopus.com reserves the right to disqualify any participant for valid reasons, including but not limited to:

(a) Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

(b) Submission of false, inaccurate, or misleading information.

(c) Duplicate, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid participation.

(d) Use of an ineligible, inactive, or inauthentic email address or social media account.

(e) Failure to complete the required winner verification process stated in Point (2) above.

If the participant holding the largest random number is disqualified, the participant holding the second-largest random number will move into first position and become the new provisional winner.

This process will continue sequentially, following the original ranking of random numbers, until an eligible winner is successfully verified and confirmed.

7. Prize

Subject to successful verification and compliance with these Terms & Conditions, the confirmed winner will be entitled to select one eligible item of their choice from the PaulTheOctopus.com Store, subject to product availability and any specific prize restrictions stated for the relevant Football Prophecy.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise determined by PaulTheOctopus.com.

8. Fair Play and Integrity

PaulTheOctopus.com reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entry reasonably suspected of being fraudulent, automated, manipulated, duplicated, submitted using false information, or otherwise inconsistent with the principles of fair play and the integrity of the Football Prophecy.

9. Administration and Final Decision

PaulTheOctopus.com reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to verify entries, correct administrative or technical errors, suspend or cancel a Football Prophecy due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, and take appropriate measures to preserve the fairness and integrity of the activity.

All decisions made by PaulTheOctopus.com concerning participant eligibility, entry validation, interpretation and application of these Terms & Conditions, and confirmation of the winner shall be final.

10. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By submitting a prediction, each participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
